There are 3 Work Study positions for Equity Studies this year.  One of the positions allow for a student to assist in organizing the Equity Studies Student Union Annual Conference Decolonizing Our Minds.  If you are a student who is interested in social justice and/or want to gain experience in conference coordinating, please apply for the Equity Studies work study position. Qualifications:
Background in equity-related studies
Good academic record
Strong research skills
A self-starter with a great deal of initiative and flexibility;
Exceptional writing and communication skills

Duties may include:
The incumbent will search and review scholarly sources.
Collecting, duplicating, filing and distributing materials as required.
Assist with the organization and publicity for talks, workshops, etc.
Assist with the development of grant proposals and program materials.
Research Tasks (e.g. transcribing, data analysis)
Working with Community Groups
